These lag bolts are used for deck mounting posts into wood. Available in three lengths to accommodate your application. Made out of 304 Grade Stainless Steel.
Use with
DECORATIVE HINGED SCREW COVER to securely fasten
DECK MOUNT TERMINAL or INTERMEDIATE POSTS to the top of a deck. Pre-drill and ensure lag penetrates into structural framing and not just the deck boards. Can also be used with
LONG NECK FLOOR FLANGE (ROUND INTERMEDIATE),
LONG NECK FLOOR FLANGE (ROUND TERMINAL), and
LONG NECK FLOOR FLANGE (SQUARE) for stainless steel posts.
NOTE: To determine which length you should buy,
REFER TO DRAWING SHOWN IN THE INSET IMAGENOTE 2:
Use Stainless Steel Grade 304 for most applications.
Use Stainless Steel Grade 316 for more corrosive environments, such as those near the ocean and/or where deicer is regularly used.
Use Stainless Steel Grade 2507 for especially corrosive environments, such as on the beach or next to a pool.
