The surface iron of stainless steel may oxidize when exposed to open air. This process is referred to as "rust" and will discolor and dull the surface of the metal over time. Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel is highly resistant to the elements and will produce very little rust if any, but it is not completely rust-proof.
This
passivator is designed to further
prevent rust on your stainless steel cables and frame, keeping them clean and lustrous. Simply spray or brush this formula on the exposed surfaces during installation. Allow it to sit for a while, then hose it off with water. More detailed instructions included with product. Apply as necessary if your property's environment promotes rust formation. Bottle contains 22oz.
